This effort does not require financial support; rather, it needs the time and efforts of Americans sincerely committed to making the United States and U.S. society safer and more secure in the 21st century and beyond. Our children and grandchildren, and their children, deserve no less.
Please reach out and engage our political leaders, opinion shapers, community leaders, the objective media and all others, urging them to promote the national discussion on amending the Second Amendment and to bring to the task an honest reading of history and an understanding of our great country’s political, economic and social development.
The America of 2023 is not the Founding Fathers’ America of 1791, and today’s readily available military grade firearms are not the equivalent of the single shot muskets or pistols of 232 years ago.
Please do your part to correct this third major shortcoming and societal wrong of the Constitution, which still remains after our Civil War to end slavery and the century long political struggle to grant women the vote.
